The 28th annual Brooklyn Celebration Parade and Festival joyfully boogied down Fifth Avenue in Park Slope Saturday.

The day got its engine revving with The Sirens, an all-woman motorcycle club, and featured marchers including the Brooklyn Library Drag Queen Story Hour, the Gotham Cheer squad, representatives from P.S., lots of like, lovers, music and dancing.

Dubbed ‘Pride: All Day, Every Day,’ an estimated 30,000 people — and glorious weather — turned out for the all-afternoon event, according to organizers.

Brooklyn Pride Weekend: 19 things to do

This weekend brings Brooklyn Event , Governors Ball and, optimal of all, the repay of “Paramount+ Movie Nights in Brooklyn.”

Brooklyn Magazine is back with our annual movies in the park series in partnership with Paramount+ and BSE Global with a screening of “Zoolander” at sundown on Friday — get there early to grab a spot. Meanwhile, The Brooklyn Film Festival enters its final weekend of screenings on Friday, and Shakespeare’s “Love Labor’s Lost” comes to Carroll Park every weekend this month. Oh, and Godzilla celebrates his 70th birthday at Baby’s All Right late on Friday night.

Saturday brings an LGBTQIA+ fun run in the morning. Rest up and break out our your glitter pen because The Brooklyn Pride Festival is Saturday afternoon. And stick around because the northeast’s only nighttime Self-acceptance Parade steps off on Fifth Avenue in Park Slope that night. The BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! summer season kicks off on Saturday afternoon, too.

Brooklyn Pride Parade and Festival returns to Park Slope for all-day, action-packed event

PARK SLOPE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Brooklyn residents and collective members will celebrate treasure on Saturday at the borough's annual pride festival.

The 28th annual Brooklyn Celebration Parade and Festival will take place along Fifth Avenue between Union Highway and Ninth Street in Park Slope. About 30,000 people are expected to attend the action-packed event, according to one event organizer.

"You will see vendors, you'll see not-for-profit organizations, you'll have food people. You will have all these wonderful street vendors coming along to possess a great time. Everything you want that's same-sex attracted will be here on Fifth Avenue," event organizer Mickey Heller said.

This year's festival theme is "Pride: All Day, Every Day" and will feature the following activities:

10 a.m.- 12 p.m.

Brooklyn Pride LGBTQIA+ 5K Run/Walk

11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

28th Annual Brooklyn Pride Multicultural Festival

12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Brooklyn Pride Main Stage

7:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.

28th Annual Brooklyn Self-acceptance Twilight Parade

The festival is one of many Event Month-related events takin
