    LifeCourse Counseling Center was established in 1980 and provides LGBTQI people therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, consultation and learning throughout the Pioneer Valley of Western Mass and telephone and video therapy nation-wide. LifeCourse Counseling Center is based in Northampton, MA, serving Springfield, Brattleboro Vermont, Greenfield, Amherst and surrounding areas.

    Our intention has always been to provide access to knowledgeable LGBTQ therapists and a protected environment where diverse sexual orientations and gender identities are seen as sound and normal. Someone coming to LifeCourse Counseling Center has always been assured that they will watch a LGBTQ therapist who intimately knows the personal issues our community faces.

    We also provide consultation, teaching, workshops and conferences (see some of our accomplishments) and work with other community organizations, helping grow mutual respect and understanding.

    Our Director and Senior Therapist Tetty Gorfine has over 30 years experience in the field.   It is her vision and leadership that has helped make LifeCourse a cornerstone of the GLBTQA community of Western Mass.
